Details from this Miami birthday party fit for a queen will make you swoon! Read below for all of the details!
Our international guests flew in to spend the birthday weekend at the incredible Versace Mansion. Our first night’s event, “the slumber party” took place upon their arrival back from a night on the town in the Villa’s courtyard. We set up six plush queen size beds for our attendees to get cozy in, and filled the space with warm pink lighting and gobos of roses to highlight the architecture. Custom monogrammed pajamas and slippers, which were placed on our uniquely designed, oversized vanity were neatly folded and labeled with each guests name. Throughout the night, tray passed late night snacks including desserts, hot chocolate, popcorn and everything to make the movie night complete! Before settling in to enjoy the movie, the birthday girl’s husband filmed a special message to the her which we played on the big screen ~ how sweet!
The following morning, guests were treated to a delicious plated brunch. Our design included centerpieces designed with blush, orange and rosy pink floral with touches of greenery. The elegant table top was set beautifully with antique silverware, crystal glassware, Versace patterned blush and gold china, tea sets and custom monogrammed linen napkins. Following the brunch, our attendees enjoyed a mini spa day with luxurious manicures and pedicures.
After a relaxing morning, The birthday girl and all her guests participated in a slew of fun activities including belly dancing classes, “team building” fun and friendly games as well as recording their own favorite tunes in a unique karaoke booth. A lavish late afternoon lunch buffet was enjoyed by all under one of the covered patios of the Villa, to shade them from the hot Miami sun.
For the final celebration, the evening began with a cocktail hour on the roof of The Villa overlooking the city. Hors d’oeuvres and mocktails were served while the guests were entertained by flamenco dancers as well as our “live painter” who completed a painting of the birthday girl. Guests were then enticed down to the the courtyard by the beautiful sounds and vibrations of an earth harp. At the end of a fantastic presentation, they continued onto dinner, which was served in the The Villa’s private dining room. Guests dined on a long rectangular table draped in custom dupioni deep blue linen adorned with seashells. Handmade crystal candelabras filled with florals of golden yellow, orange, peach, and blue, acted as tall centerpieces while seashells, candles, jewels and additional blooms abundantly filled the tabletop. Of course, the look wouldn’t have been complete if not for our Versace inspired elegant handcrafted menus and the ever so unique Versace patterned china.
At the end of the meal, guests were escorted to a wild, and elevated pool party! Custom cabanas were built for lounge seating and enhanced with turquoise draping, lush pillows, candles, floral and hanging crystals. Guests were welcomed with fabulous tunes spun by DJ Sky Nellor and wow’d with amazing entertainment. They danced and partied into the wee hours of the morning while enjoying late night snacks, a dessert buffet and an incredible six tiered cake by Sylvia Weinstock. It was a night to remember!
For Sunday brunch, we filled the Villa’s fountain with blooms of yellow, orange and coral. So guests could be shaded from the hot Miami sun, we dressed umbrellas with clusters of floral and hanging yellow orchids. We filled the table with large golden decorative spheres while each setting was completed with black monogrammed napkins atop textured white plates.
It was such an incredible experience planning and producing this unique and event filled weekend for our client. We truly thank our team of vendors for their amazing creativity and work and a send big thanks to Elizabeth Solano from John Solano Photography who captured every detail beautifully.

Elegant Four Seasons Westlake Rehearsal Dinner
The night before our stunning couple said “I do” we designed and produced an elegant rehearsal dinner at the Waterfall Garden at The Four Seasons Westlake.
The lush garden and the relaxing sounds of the waterfall set the tone a perfect reception space. Long rectangular tables mixed with some rounds were placed throughout the lawn and draped in olive linens. Tuscan inspired centerpieces filled with vibrant colored floral in burgundy, fuschia, purple and green textures and herbs. Grapes and kumquats accented the centerpieces and hurricanes wrapped with lavender, curly willow and eucalyptus added a warm glow. The place settings included lace embossed chargers, linen hemstitch napkins, a custom design menu and a nosegay of fresh herbs. Each table featured artisan rustic bread sticks and wood boards of burrata & hummus spread as well as quinoa tabbouleh bowls all shared family style.
As guests arrived, they were treated to custom cocktails, wine and delicious tray passed hors d’oeuvres while the band played in the background. Doubling as a party favor and a seat assignment, we designed personalized miniature bottles of whiskey with the couple’s logo and wedding hashtag. As the sun went down, Images by Lighting illuminated the space with lights strung over the entire seating area creating an intimate romantic feel. During dinner guests enjoyed an evening filled with heart-felt roasts and toasts which was shown on the many flat screens around the garden
This beautifully designed (if we do say so ourselves!) rehearsal dinner was just a small preview of what the wedding would be! Stay tuned for details on their special day!
Special thank you to Callaway Gable for expertly capturing the details of this day!

Star Wars Bar Mitzvah
At the Four Seasons Los Angeles we produced and designed a Star Wars Mitzvah that will have you dreaming of a galaxy far, far away.
Draping the room in LED black star drape, and adding gobos in the shape of stars helped to create the illusion that this celebration took place in the Outer Rim. Filling the space around the sleek black dance floor, we placed Revelry Event Design’s mirrored rectangular coffee and communal tables and paired them with their stylish and sleek dining chairs and stools. We also added Revelry’s black channelled banquettes so guests could lounge comfortably and enjoy the party.
Hidden Garden gave the futuristic party a floral touch with blooms of green roses, green hydrangeas, orchids, and an abundance of palm greenery and other textural greens on the tables, bars, lining the stage and at varying food stations!
Along with dancing the night away, guests enjoyed playing foosball and basketball, creating custom scents, getting airbrush glitter tattoos, sweatshirts and hats. Kids quenched their thirst on “Yoda Soda” while the adults said bottoms up with “Light Side Cosmos”. After the delicious dinner, guests indulged on delicious Star Wars themed cookies and Storm Trooper cupcakes! As the DJ played hits that everyone loved, the LED wall by CBC Technical glowed with galactical scenes.
Fulfilling the birthday boy’s desires for a Star Wars themed birthday party was a pleasure for us! Thank you Elizabeth Solano for capturing the galactic details!

Classy New York City Bridal Shower
On a bright, beautiful, warm spring New York City day, 60 of our bride’s closest friends and family gathered to shower the bride with love admiration and well wishes for a classy New York City Bridal Shower!
The sophisticated yet feminine space was filled with round tables draped in champagne-hued linens, white lace runners, custom monogrammed hemstitch napkins and topped with patterned garden themed charger plates. Each centerpiece was unique and arranged with a mesmerizing blend of purple flowers, yellow pansies and buttercream roses in a variety of vessels. Candelabras, stacks of books, framed photographs, maps and other vintage tokens complimented the centerpieces, and throughout the space, mementos of Alex + Dan’s relationship could be found.
Keeping true to the bride’s three rules, “no games, no poems and no gift opening” we created a fun filled afternoon with unique entertainment for a bridal shower! A live “boy band” from Elan Artists, played upbeat familiar tunes, so guests could dance, nibble delicious eats and sip on carefully selected wine and custom cocktails! As friends and family mingled enjoying each other’s company, they were able to create their own special blended scent of custom-made perfume with their special party favors, vintage inspired perfume bottles.
As a fun surprise, Ed Libby created custom cotton candy wigs on mannequin heads dressed up in earrings and fake lashes. Towards the end of the party, the groom to be made a surprise appearance and brought Alex a beautiful bouquet of flowers. *Swoon*

Britney Spears’ Baby Shower Bash
Sometimes the best way to find motivation for the future is to draw inspiration from the past, and that is exactly why we love looking back at past parties and events with which we have been involved. Among our favorites is Britney Spears’ 2005 Baby Shower Bash which left a colorful mark in our memory and will forever have a place in our hearts.
We were honored to work alongside Britney Spears to dream up and design the intimate Moroccan-themed baby shower which welcomed her first son, Sean Preston Federline in late summer 2005, and can’t wait to share all the colorful details with you. To see the details of this blossoming baby bash and get the behind-the-scenes scoop on a celebrity shower, keep reading!
Bursting with color and culture at every turn, Britney’s baby shower was located right in the pop sensations garden, where we transformed the atmosphere to a modern Moroccan-themed wonderland. Upon arrival, guests kicked off their shoes and walked barefoot through thousands of pink, orange, and red rose petals into a vibrant arrangement of tiki torches, tents, and colorful umbrellas which set the scene.
The small collection of family and friends in attendance lounged on colorful cushions in the lawn where they laughed and chatted to the backdrop of traditional Moroccan music. Henna artists and fortune tellers enchanted guests with their skills, while they basked in the late-summer sunset.
As the celebration continued, guests gathered in the tent for a delicious dinner, tender toasts, fun games and heartwarming family time. The pink and orange tent was cozy and glamorous, with dainty blooms hanging overhead and beautiful billowing bouquets by Mark’s Garden tying the table together. After a delightful meal and sweet gift exchange, family and friends ended the night on a sweet note with an elaborate cake that was shaped like a traditional Moroccan pot with a darling baby peeking its head out.
From the barefoot floral entrance to the magical Moroccan music and every enchanting element in between, Britney Spears’ baby shower was one of our favorite events to date and we love looking back on this timeless treasure! To see all the darling details, keep scrolling!

Backyard Wedding Celebration
After tying the knot in a romantic, intimate wedding in Eze, France, 5,000 miles away from home, our bride and groom wanted to celebrate with their closest friends and family comfortably in their backyard. It was our pleasure to make their vision a reality.
In their spacious garden, we created an elegant celebration designed with plush lounge furniture with gold accents, rustic communal tables, and round dining tables draped in cream linen. With the help of Nancy Kaye of Mark’s Garden, The rustic, Tuscan look was perfected with aged votives and elements of birch, olive branch, herbs were treated with warm floral arrangements in shades of tangerine, persimmon, pink, blush, yellow and shades of green.
For dinner, guests were treated to a delectable meal by The Kitchen For Exploring Foods made of fresh, farm to table ingredients. As the night continued and the drinks were flowing, the “afterparty” moved indoors so the DJ could spin well into the wee hours of the morning. Our bride and groom were thrilled that their wedding dreams came true not only once, but twice.
Designing this wedding celebration at our client’s beautiful home was such a fun experience for us! Thank you to the entire creative team for helping bring this couple’s dream to life!

Easter Party
Fall in love with this Easter Party that we were delighted to have planned and designed! Held at our client’s private estate, the manicured grounds of their vast gardens provided the perfect setting for this fabulous Easter celebration filled with delicious food, family and fun!
We based all of the beautiful details on the soft colors of Spring. We draped round tables in pastel linens in shades of pink, yellow, lilac and blue and filled baskets with an array of bright blooms, greenery and adorable baby bunnies. Providing shade for guests, we dressed the market umbrellas with hanging roses in groupings of different colors. The Kitchen for Exploring Foods provided a delicious brunch buffet that was presented with floral touches from Mark’s Garden.
For the younger guests, we organized classic Easter-themed activities such as egg decorating, an egg hunt and photos with the Easter Bunny himself! For the Easter egg hunt, each child was given customized wicker baskets to hold their eggs! While the hunt was in full swing, the Easter bunny made an appearance to say hello and offer some assistance!
It was a very special holiday party that we loved putting together for a wonderful family. We hope you enjoy all of these sweet Easter memories!

Intimate Four Seasons Vow Renewal
This intimate Four Seasons Santa Barbara vow renewal was a romantic summer celebration deep-rooted in family and love. This vow renewal was not just about celebrating Shannon + Jon’s love for one another, it was about celebrating the strength of their family and friendships.
Cream colored flower petals led to a stunning bridal arch designed by Nancy Kaye of Mark’s Garden, which was made of lush greenery with blush, cream and lavender roses. The butterflies, which are a common theme throughout this day, represent the two month old son Shannon + Jon painfully lost in 2008. The intimate ceremony took place overlooking Butterfly Beach, while the bride of 21 years looked gorgeous in a flowing white gown that featured butterfly appliques on the bodice of the dress paying homage to her son.
Following the ceremony, the guests enjoyed a romantic candlelit dinner under a draped wooden pergola, with crystal chandeliers and an abundance of floral and greens hanging above their heads. For the dining table, we introduced low cream-colored florals with touches of lavender and many candles to add ambience and romance. As the sun set over the Pacific Ocean, guests enjoyed a decadent dinner from the Four Seasons on gold-rimmed china, silver flatware and crystal glassware while a musical trio played the couples favorite songs in the background.
With just two months to plan, we are incredibly pleased with this fantastic celebration we were able to create for Shannon + Jon. Thank you to all of our hard-working and amazing vendors for helping to bring this day to life. Special thank you to Joe Buissnik for capturing the details, special moments and the relaxed atmosphere of the day.
