Incredible Miami Birthday Party
Details from this Miami birthday party fit for a queen will make you swoon! Read below for all of the details!
Our international guests flew in to spend the birthday weekend at the incredible Versace Mansion. Our first night’s event, “the slumber party” took place upon their arrival back from a night on the town in the Villa’s courtyard. We set up six plush queen size beds for our attendees to get cozy in, and filled the space with warm pink lighting and gobos of roses to highlight the architecture. Custom monogrammed pajamas and slippers, which were placed on our uniquely designed, oversized vanity were neatly folded and labeled with each guests name. Throughout the night, tray passed late night snacks including desserts, hot chocolate, popcorn and everything to make the movie night complete! Before settling in to enjoy the movie, the birthday girl’s husband filmed a special message to the her which we played on the big screen ~ how sweet!
The following morning, guests were treated to a delicious plated brunch. Our design included centerpieces designed with blush, orange and rosy pink floral with touches of greenery. The elegant table top was set beautifully with antique silverware, crystal glassware, Versace patterned blush and gold china, tea sets and custom monogrammed linen napkins. Following the brunch, our attendees enjoyed a mini spa day with luxurious manicures and pedicures.
After a relaxing morning, The birthday girl and all her guests participated in a slew of fun activities including belly dancing classes, “team building” fun and friendly games as well as recording their own favorite tunes in a unique karaoke booth. A lavish late afternoon lunch buffet was enjoyed by all under one of the covered patios of the Villa, to shade them from the hot Miami sun.
For the final celebration, the evening began with a cocktail hour on the roof of The Villa overlooking the city. Hors d’oeuvres and mocktails were served while the guests were entertained by flamenco dancers as well as our “live painter” who completed a painting of the birthday girl. Guests were then enticed down to the the courtyard by the beautiful sounds and vibrations of an earth harp. At the end of a fantastic presentation, they continued onto dinner, which was served in the The Villa’s private dining room. Guests dined on a long rectangular table draped in custom dupioni deep blue linen adorned with seashells. Handmade crystal candelabras filled with florals of golden yellow, orange, peach, and blue, acted as tall centerpieces while seashells, candles, jewels and additional blooms abundantly filled the tabletop. Of course, the look wouldn’t have been complete if not for our Versace inspired elegant handcrafted menus and the ever so unique Versace patterned china.
At the end of the meal, guests were escorted to a wild, and elevated pool party! Custom cabanas were built for lounge seating and enhanced with turquoise draping, lush pillows, candles, floral and hanging crystals. Guests were welcomed with fabulous tunes spun by DJ Sky Nellor and wow’d with amazing entertainment. They danced and partied into the wee hours of the morning while enjoying late night snacks, a dessert buffet and an incredible six tiered cake by Sylvia Weinstock. It was a night to remember!
For Sunday brunch, we filled the Villa’s fountain with blooms of yellow, orange and coral. So guests could be shaded from the hot Miami sun, we dressed umbrellas with clusters of floral and hanging yellow orchids. We filled the table with large golden decorative spheres while each setting was completed with black monogrammed napkins atop textured white plates.
