On a bright, beautiful, warm spring New York City day, 60 of our bride’s closest friends and family gathered to shower the bride with love admiration and well wishes for a classy New York City Bridal Shower!
The sophisticated yet feminine space was filled with round tables draped in champagne-hued linens, white lace runners, custom monogrammed hemstitch napkins and topped with patterned garden themed charger plates. Each centerpiece was unique and arranged with a mesmerizing blend of purple flowers, yellow pansies and buttercream roses in a variety of vessels. Candelabras, stacks of books, framed photographs, maps and other vintage tokens complimented the centerpieces, and throughout the space, mementos of Alex + Dan’s relationship could be found.
Keeping true to the bride’s three rules, “no games, no poems and no gift opening” we created a fun filled afternoon with unique entertainment for a bridal shower! A live “boy band” from Elan Artists, played upbeat familiar tunes, so guests could dance, nibble delicious eats and sip on carefully selected wine and custom cocktails! As friends and family mingled enjoying each other’s company, they were able to create their own special blended scent of custom-made perfume with their special party favors, vintage inspired perfume bottles.
As a fun surprise, Ed Libby created custom cotton candy wigs on mannequin heads dressed up in earrings and fake lashes. Towards the end of the party, the groom to be made a surprise appearance and brought Alex a beautiful bouquet of flowers. *Swoon*
